Emergency alternative communication channels
It is important that you can have a session as promised with your client, even when there are technical failure. In the unlikely case that either you and/or the client cannot get the video connection working, first check that your connection is good and check whether the room has been reserved for you and is not in use by someone else. If you and/or the client still cannot get access, use one of the following options.
Step 1. Go to https://videolink2me.com/start
Step 2. Click on ‘start video call’
Step 3. Select either ‘voice only’ (recommended if you or the client has a bad line connection) or ‘video and voice’
Step 4. Accept the use of the camera and microphone of your computer
Step 5. Send the link to the client, which will look like: https://videolink2me.com/o/9ee92910 When the client clicks on this, the client is directly in the room.
Step 1. Create an account via https://magnocall.com/
Step 2. Ask client to make an account as well via https://magnocall.com/
Step 3. Send an invitation or a link to the client for the call
Step 4. Accept computer to use microphone and/or video
Step 1. Go to https://talky.io/
Step 2. Enter a name or click “Start a Chat” to create your room
Step 3. Send your room link to the people you wanna Talky with
Only use this option when all other option have failed.
Step 1. Go to Skype.com Login with the following details: First name = Meaning Online; Surname = Practitioner Password = ajh6672j0?
Step 2. Send the following inlog details to your client: First name = Meaning Online; Surname = Practitioner Password = uiu87689io1
Step 3. Call each other via Skype
Do NOT change any of the settings, and do NOT save or share these details and tell the client to do the same.
